Minister of Justice meets Egyptian Chargé d'Affaires.

Tripoli, December 29, 2025 (LANA) – The Minister of Justice in the Government of National Unity, Halima Ibrahim, met today, Monday, with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Libya, Tamer El-Hefny.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed various topics related to bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, focusing on ways to enhance judicial and legal cooperation. Among the most prominent topics discussed was the follow-up on the implementation of joint judicial cooperation agreements, particularly regarding the transfer of prisoners to serve their sentences in their countries of origin.
