Al-Ghouj meets Officials from 25 Tripoli Hospitals

Tripoli, December 28, 2025 (LANA) – Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Mohammed Al-Ghouj, met today, Sunday, with officials from 25 hospitals in Tripoli to discuss practical measures to improve readiness and efficiency in the provision of health services.
The meeting addressed increasing hospital bed capacity and equipping them with essential supplies, directing spending towards urgent priorities with a direct impact on the quality of healthcare, linking health facilities to the financial system and the "Taysir" system to streamline correspondence and enhance administrative discipline, and working towards adopting a standardized, standardized medication list for each hospital.
The meeting also discussed organizing a patient referral mechanism between health facilities to ensure the smooth flow of cases, activating outpatient clinics within the central clinics to alleviate pressure on general and specialized hospitals, and automating and operating emergency and accident departments and other departments to manage patient flow and improve the efficiency of treatment services.
