Tripoli, 28 December 2025 (Lana) President of the Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Mohamed Al-Menfi, received yesterday in Tripoli the Turkish Chief of General Staff, Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, and his accompanying military delegation, in addition to the Turkish Ambassador to Libya.

During the meeting, Bayraktaroğlu conveyed the condolences of the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) to Al-Menfi, expressing his deep sorrow over the tragic incident.

Bayraktaroğlu stressed Turkey's full solidarity with the Libyan people, offering his condolences to the families of the martyrs and emphasizing the continuation of military cooperation and coordination between the two parties.
