Tripoli, December 24, 2025 (LANA) – Lieutenant General Hussein Al-Aib, Head of the General Intelligence Service, expressed his deepest sorrow and condolences for the tragic loss of the late Chief of Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad, and his companions, following the unfortunate plane crash.

In a telegram of condolence, Lieutenant General Al-Aib affirmed that with the passing of Lieutenant General Al-Haddad, Libya has lost a devoted national leader who dedicated his life to serving his country and defending its security and stability, leaving behind a distinguished legacy of sacrifice and professionalism.

In his telegram, he expressed his condolences to all members of the armed forces on this profound loss, praying that God Almighty grant the deceased and all his companions His abundant mercy, admit them to Paradise with the righteous and the martyrs, and grant their families and all members of the Libyan Army patience and solace.
