Tehran, December 24, 2025 (LANA) – The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered its condolences to Libya on the death of Libyan Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammed al-Haddad, and his companions, following a tragic plane crash near the Turkish capital, Ankara.

Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei said on Wednesday that the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends its deepest condolences to the Libyan government and people and expresses its sympathy over this tragic incident.
