Ankara, December 24, 2025 (LANA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan offered his condolences to the Libyan government and people on Wednesday following the death of Chief of Staff Mohammed Ali al-Haddad and his companions, who perished in the crash of their aircraft near Ankara on Tuesday.
This came during a speech he delivered at an expanded meeting of the heads of the Justice and Development Party's provincial branches in Ankara.
Erdoğan stated, "On behalf of my country and the Turkish people, I offer my condolences to the brotherly Libyan people, the Libyan Armed Forces, and the government."
The Turkish President confirmed that investigations have begun to determine the causes of the tragic incident and the plane crash.
