Tripoli, December 24, 2025 (LANA) – The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, received a message of condolence today, Wednesday, from the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, delivered by his envoy to Libya, Paul Soler, following the tragic incident that claimed the life of Chief of Staff Mohammed Al-Haddad and his companions when their plane crashed near the Turkish capital, Ankara.
In his message, the French President expressed his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the Head of the Presidential Council and the Libyan people on the death of the Chief of Staff of the Libyan Army and several of his companions, affirming the solidarity of the French Republic with Libya during this profound loss.
Macron also expressed his profound sympathy to the families of the victims, emphasizing France's support for the Libyan people during these difficult times.
