Ankara, December 24, 2025 (LANA) – Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the recovery of the bodies of the victims and the black box of the plane carrying Libyan Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Mohammed al-Haddad, which crashed yesterday near Ankara.
During a press conference held at the crash site, the Turkish Interior Minister said, "The bodies of the victims have been found and transferred to the forensic medicine department for the necessary and standard procedures. We extend our condolences to the Libyan side and to the families of the victims."
He added, "Libya has sent a team of approximately 29 people to participate in the investigations into the plane crash."
