The Libyan ambassador in Khartoum discusses with Tarco Aviation the arrangements for launching an air route between Libya and Sudan

Tripoli, December 23, 2025 (LANA) – The Libyan Ambassador to Sudan, Fawzi Boumriz, met today with a delegation from Tarco Aviation to coordinate and discuss the resumption of flights between Libya and Sudan, following the Libyan authorities' approval of the resumption of air service between the two countries.
According to a statement published by the Libyan Embassy in Khartoum on its official page, the flights, scheduled to begin in January of next year, will operate from Port Sudan and Benghazi International Airports, pending the completion of all necessary legal and administrative procedures.
The embassy emphasized that the meeting – with the company delegation, which included the Director of the Department of Foreign Relations and International Cooperation and the Legal Advisor – reflects the fraternal relations and Libya's support for its Sudanese brothers during the current crisis in their country.
