Tripoli, December 22, 2025 (LANA) – The Head of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh, met in Tripoli with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, to discuss oversight and administrative matters related to the performance of the Ministry and its diplomatic missions.
The meeting addressed the monitoring of the performance of Libyan diplomatic missions abroad and their adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and procedures. It also covered monitoring the Ministry's administrative operations and addressing any shortcomings in internal procedures and processes.
The meeting further addressed the review of the organizational structure and diplomatic staff, ensuring that qualified personnel are employed to meet the actual needs of their assigned countries. It also discussed monitoring the financial obligations of the missions to guarantee the use of public resources within legal frameworks. Additionally, the meeting addressed Libya's participation in international organizations and fulfilling its obligations to ensure compliance with international standards and the protection of the country's interests.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of strengthening oversight mechanisms and continuous monitoring of administrative, financial, and technical performance, addressing shortcomings to ensure institutional discipline and transparency in resource management, and enhancing the efficiency of official tasks at both the diplomatic and international levels.
