Tripoli, December 21, 2025 (LANA) – The Nigerian Minister of Social Affairs expressed her hope to benefit from the Libyan experience in the social field and implement best practices in social programs to enhance social stability and support sustainable development.

This came during her meeting with the Minister of Social Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Wafaa Al-Kilani, on the sidelines of the Arab Summit of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the meeting, Minister Al-Kilani reviewed the Libyan experience in social protection policies, programs to support the most vulnerable groups, women's empowerment, and childcare, in addition to the efforts made to develop and improve the efficiency of social services.

The two sides also discussed prospects for joint cooperation and benefiting from successful experiences in the social field.
