Tripoli, December 16, 2025 (LANA) – The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced the deportation of a group of displaced Syrians to their country via Mitiga International Airport, in coordination with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The Ministry explained that this operation is part of its plan to address the issue of illegal immigration in an organized manner, ensuring respect for applicable laws and strengthening the state's efforts to manage this issue according to established standards.
