Ghouj meets Egyptian Ambassador.

Tripoli, December 12, 2025 (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Health of the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Ghouj, met with the Egyptian Ambassador to Libya, Tamer Al-Hafni, to discuss avenues for health cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed support and development programs in the health sector, particularly those related to improving the efficiency of healthcare systems, exchanging expertise and training, and activating joint agreements, all of which contribute to enhancing the quality of health services provided to citizens in both countries.

The meeting also addressed the preparations being made by the Ministry of Health to host the Arab Health Ministers' meeting scheduled to be held in Tripoli next week. This meeting represents an important step towards establishing a unified Arab vision in the areas of public health, emergency response, and strengthening the capabilities of health systems in the region.
