Tripoli, December 11, 2025 (LANA) – The Steering and Technical Committee for the Cooperation Framework with the United Nations to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals held a meeting today, Thursday, at the Ministry of Planning. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Planning in the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Yousef Al-Zaidani, and included representatives from the Office of the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

The Ministry stated on its official page that the meeting discussed development projects being implemented by UN organizations in Libya.

Participants reviewed ongoing projects, progress achieved, and the difficulties and challenges they face.

The meeting also discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation and overcome obstacles to accelerate the implementation of development programs and achieve their objectives.
