Tripoli, December 10, 2025 (LANA) – The UN Special Representative for Libya, Hanna Tetteh, met today in Tripoli with the Chargé d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Libya, Jeremy Berndt.

In a tweet posted by the US Embassy on its X platform, Berndt expressed his sincere thanks to the Special Representative for her hospitality, emphasizing the continued cooperation between the two sides in support of Libyan efforts to overcome narrow-minded tendencies and strengthen the spirit of national unity.

The Chargé d'Affaires explained that the discussions focused on the importance of the roadmap that Tetteh is working to implement, calling on all candidates and those active in the Libyan political arena to support and facilitate the UN's efforts and to participate constructively in the process of holding new Libyan elections.
