Unidentified Body Found West of Jalo.

Jalo, December 6, 2025 (LANA) – Al-Sharaf Police Station, affiliated with the Al-Wahat Security Directorate, initiated procedures after receiving a report of a decomposed body found in the Al-Ahraash area, approximately 90 kilometers west of Jalo.

Sources explained that the body was discovered based on information received by the Directorate through the head of the Documentation and Information Department. He reported receiving a notification from the commander of the Oil Facilities Guard Assets Unit in Jalo, indicating the discovery of a body that was likely buried some time ago before being exposed by the wind.

Following this, a security patrol, including the head of the Al-Sharaf Police Station, the duty investigator, and a member of the Public Prosecution, went to the location of the report. The initial examination revealed that the body was wrapped in a piece of cloth, with signs of decomposition indicating that the death had occurred two years prior or more.

The sources confirmed that the competent authorities retrieved the body and transferred it to Jalo Central Hospital, where it was placed in the morgue refrigerator in preparation for its examination by the forensic doctor, in accordance with the instructions of the Public Prosecution.
