HoR Speaker Meets with Greek Foreign Minister.

Athens, December 6, 2025 (LANA) – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, met with Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetris on Friday evening at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Athens.

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs published photos of the meeting between Saleh and Gerapetris on its official website and Facebook page, without providing any further details.

The Speaker's media office has not yet released any information regarding the meeting.

Earlier on Friday, the Speaker met with his Greek counterpart, Nikitas Kaklamanis, where they discussed the latest political developments in Libya.

The House of Representatives' media center explained that the meeting with the Speaker of the Greek Parliament, attended by several members of the Greek Parliament, addressed strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields, activating joint parliamentary cooperation, and reviewing the latest political developments in Libya, as well as discussing ways to support stability and peace in the region.

The media center added that both sides emphasized the importance of coordinating positions on issues of common interest in a way that serves the interests of the Libyan and Greek peoples.
