Manfi Receives Credentials of Maltese and Dutch Ambassadors to Libya.

Tripoli, December 4, 2025 (LANA) – The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Manfi, received the credentials of the Maltese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Libya, Franklin Aquilina, on Thursday.

Al-Manfi welcomed the new ambassador, emphasizing the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, security, and maritime fields.

Al-Manfi reiterated his support for all initiatives that contribute to strengthening the Libyan-Maltese partnership, which will positively impact cooperation and exchange between the two countries.

For his part, the ambassador affirmed his commitment to working diligently to develop bilateral relations and commended Al-Manfi's efforts in supporting peace initiatives and consolidating the foundations of the state in Libya.

Manfi, also received the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Libya, Ariane Ullenrev.

For his part, the Dutch ambassador affirmed his commitment to working towards elevating his country's relations with Libya to broader levels, commending Al-Manfi's efforts in supporting the state's development and institution-building, according to the Speaker's media office.
