The conference discussed the Vienna Principles for a Global Framework for Measuring Corruption, their further implementation, and providing member states with concrete tools, frameworks, and cooperative mechanisms to enhance corruption measurement. The conference was sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The conference includes high-level plenary sessions, technical committees, and expert roundtables exploring emerging methods, digital innovations, and lessons learned from the past for measuring corruption; new ways to measure it in the public and private sectors; the institutional performance of anti-corruption agencies; the measurement of illicit financial flows; and the economic impact of corruption and its prevention.
