The Dutch ambassador praised the progress made by the Missing Persons Search and Identification Authority, particularly in the cases of Derna and Tarhuna.

Tripoli, December 2, 2025 (LANA) – The Dutch Ambassador to Libya visited the headquarters of the General Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons today to learn about the efforts being made regarding missing persons and to discuss areas of joint cooperation.

The head of the Authority, Kamal Al-Siwi, briefed the Dutch Ambassador and his accompanying delegation on the most prominent current projects and future development plans that the Authority is continuously working on.

Following this, the Ambassador and his delegation toured the Authority's departments, during which he praised the significant progress achieved by the Authority, particularly in the cases of Derna and Tarhuna.

For his part, the head of the Authority expressed his appreciation for the visit, emphasizing the Authority's keenness to expand cooperation with the Dutch side in a way that contributes to supporting national efforts to address this issue.
