Nigerian migrants deported from a shelter in eastern Tripoli under court orders

Tripoli, December 2, 2025 (LANA) – The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency deported a group of Nigerian migrants on Tuesday. The migrants had been residing in a detention center east of Tripoli.
The agency explained that the deportation, which took place in the presence of members of the Nigerian Embassy in Libya, was carried out based on the migrants' travel documents and in accordance with court orders for their deportation from Libyan territory for violating applicable laws.
The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency confirmed that deportation operations for migrants will continue according to the established schedule.
