Shakshak participates in the 69th meeting of the ARABOSAI Executive Council held in Jeddah

Tripoli, November 30, 2025 (LANA) – The Head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, and his accompanying delegation participated this morning in the 69th meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The meeting, which included the heads and representatives of supreme audit institutions from member states, discussed a number of reports and topics on the agenda. These included the Executive Council Chairman's report on the organization's activities and the follow-up on the implementation of work programs and the strategic plan, as well as the General Secretariat's report and the reports of the main committees: the Professional Standards Committee, the Committee on Monitoring Sustainable Development Goals, the Committee on Monitoring Information Technology, and the Committee on Institutional Capacity Building.

The meeting also reviewed reports from member institutions regarding their participation in the committees and working groups of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

The Executive Council of ARABOSAI is one of its most important bodies, as it is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the strategic plan, supporting specialized committees, making executive decisions, and approving [the relevant documents/reports/etc.]. Policy proposals and initiatives before their submission to the General Assembly.
