Water Resources: Warnings of Weather Fluctuations and Heavy Rains.

Tripoli, November 30, 2025 (Lana=) – The Ministry of Water Resources of the Government of National Unity warned today, Sunday, of expected weather fluctuations in various regions, particularly in the north, southwest, areas near the Algerian border, and the Nafusa Mountains, during the coming hours and until next Tuesday.

Based on forecasts from the National Meteorological Center, the Ministry indicated the possibility of varying intensities of rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms in some areas, which increases the likelihood of water accumulation in low-lying areas and the risk of flash floods and overflowing of local wadis.

The Ministry urged citizens to stay away from wadis and low-lying areas, and not to risk crossing them during rainfall or when water levels are high. It also advised them to exercise caution and follow the instructions issued by the relevant authorities to ensure public safety.
