Interior Ministry meets with Ajelat Municipality.

Tripoli, November 30, 2025 (LANA) – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Mahmoud Saeed, met today, Sunday, with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs for Institutional Affairs, Hatem Abdelkarim Zaghil, the Mayor of Ajelat, Abdulhamid Mohammed Al-Shabouki, and a number of elders, wise men, sheikhs, and members of the Municipal Council, to discuss ways to enhance joint security cooperation between the municipality and the Ministry of Interior.

The Undersecretary stated on his official page that the meeting discussed the existing cooperation between the Ajelat Municipal Council, the Ajelat Security Directorate, and the security agencies within the municipality. They also discussed the equipment and resources needed by members of the Municipal Council to exert greater efforts and cooperate with security agencies in the region to ensure the maintenance of security and safety within the municipality as required.

At the end of the meeting, Saeed stressed the importance of the Ajelat Municipal Council members joining forces with the security services of the Ministry of Interior within the municipality, with the aim of improving the security performance of the ministry’s personnel and achieving security control within the region.
