Egypt and Algeria Affirm Support for Libyan-Libyan Track.

Cairo, November 27, 2025 (LANA) – Egypt and Algeria affirmed their shared vision on a number of regional issues, foremost among them supporting the Libyan-Libyan track as the optimal path to reaching a comprehensive and sustainable solution to the crisis in Libya.
This came during a joint press conference held in Cairo on Wednesday between Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and his Algerian counterpart, Sifi Gharib, where both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination between the two countries to enhance stability in the region.
Madbouly stated at the press conference that Cairo and Algiers are working in complete harmony regarding the Libyan file, noting the agreement between the two sides to support the Libyan-Libyan political process. He emphasized that any solution must stem from the national will of the Libyan people, free from any external interference or agendas.
The Egyptian Prime Minister also emphasized the convergence of views between the two countries regarding how to manage this issue.
For his part, Seifeddine Ghrib affirmed that the region faces challenges that necessitate strengthening Arab solidarity and unifying positions, noting that the existing coordination between Cairo and Algiers aims to restore regional peace and security and support all efforts to enhance stability in Libya and the region as a whole.
