Tripoli, November 26, 2025 (LANA) – Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba affirmed the government's support for the Ministry of Interior and its efforts to enforce security and enhance stability throughout the country.
This came during his meeting on Wednesday with Acting Interior Minister Major General Emad Al-Trabulsi, in the presence of the Acting Minister of Finance and the Prime Minister's Financial Advisor, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi. The meeting focused on the Ministry of Interior's programs for securing fuel supplies and strengthening security, as well as reviewing existing projects within executive bodies and the Ministry's urgent needs.
The meeting also included a review of the plan to secure fuel stations and prevent fuel smuggling, and a discussion of security deployments within Tripoli and support for police units to enhance their readiness.
According to the government's media office, the meeting addressed the latest developments regarding illegal immigration and the efforts being made to apprehend and deport irregular migrants in accordance with legal procedures and in coordination with international organizations.
