Benghazi, November 25, 2025 (LANA) – The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) branch in Al-Butnan uncovered a human smuggling hub in the Ain Ghazala area, apprehending 36 undocumented migrants of various nationalities.

The CID, through its media office, stated that a field force, supported by eight patrols, raided a dilapidated house near the coast in the Ain Ghazala area and arrested 36 undocumented migrants of various nationalities.

The CID confirmed that the migrants were transferred to its headquarters for processing and legal procedures, prior to their referral to the appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
