Tripoli, November 17, 2025 (LANA) – The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) launched a digital platform on Monday for young Libyan men and women aged 18 to 35 residing in Libya who wish to contribute their views to the structured dialogue process.
The mission stated that through this digital platform, it aims to ensure the broadest possible participation of young people from across the country in this process, complementing and supporting the efforts of the young members participating in the structured dialogue.
According to the mission, platform participants will have the opportunity to express their opinions and perspectives on the key issues being discussed in the dialogue and share them with the young members of the structured dialogue, thus ensuring that the voices of young people from all over the country are heard in the political process.
The Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Hanna Tetteh, said: “Young people in Libya are not only the future of the country, but also its present. They are the ones most affected by the current political crisis, and they stand to benefit the most from a peaceful transition that allows them to elect leaders of their own choosing.”
