Dbaiba Discusses Energy Cooperation with Hungarian National Security Advisor.

Tripoli, November 17, 2025 (LANA) – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdelhamid Dbaiba, met today, Monday, with the National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Hungary, Marcel Bíró, to discuss bilateral relations and ways to develop joint cooperation, particularly in the fields of energy and related technologies.
During the meeting, which was also attended by the Hungarian Special Envoy to Africa, the two sides discussed mechanisms for activating diplomatic relations between the two countries, including resuming diplomatic representation and appointing an ambassador, which would enhance economic and investment cooperation.
The Hungarian official conveyed an official message from his government to the Prime Minister, affirming Hungary's desire to expand cooperation and support stability in Libya, according to the government's media office.
For his part, Dbaiba welcomed the visit, emphasizing the government's readiness to open new horizons for cooperation, especially in the fields of energy and investment, in a way that serves the interests of both countries.
