Libya and Hungary Discuss Developing Bilateral Relations.

Tripoli, November 17, 2025 (LANA) – Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Baour, met today, Monday, with the Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Hungary, Marcel Bíró, to discuss ways to develop bilateral relations in the political, economic, and trade fields, in addition to reviewing regional and international developments of mutual interest.
The two sides also discussed prospects for cooperation in diplomatic training, facilitating visa procedures, and strengthening partnerships in the energy and reconstruction sectors.
Marcel Bíró expressed his country's appreciation for the strong relations with Libya, affirming Hungary's readiness to support Libyan efforts aimed at achieving stability and development. He also indicated his country's aspiration to expand cooperation to serve the interests of both nations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of continuing joint coordination and intensifying mutual visits to develop bilateral cooperation and propel it towards broader horizons.
