Al-Baour meets with German Ambassador.

Tripoli, November 16, 2025 (LANA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met today, Sunday, with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Libya, Ralph Joseph Tarraf, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian fields.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the meeting addressed regional and international developments of mutual interest.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two countries to support stability within Libya and enhance development opportunities.

The German Ambassador reiterated his country's commitment to developing avenues of bilateral cooperation that serve the common interests of both countries. He also reaffirmed Germany's commitment to supporting efforts for stability and development in Libya, which contributes to strengthening security and stability in the region. Furthermore, he emphasized the continuation of coordination between the two sides on issues of mutual interest at the regional and international levels.
