Wahiba Follows Up on Security Operations in Tripoli.

Tripoli, November 15, 2025 (LANA) – The weekly meeting held today, Saturday, by Tripoli Security Director, Major General Khalil Wahiba, with various departments of the Security Directorate, focused on the progress of security operations in the capital and the monitoring of serious crimes.

The meeting discussed the security performance report issued by the offices and departments, which included an assessment of the level of readiness and discipline, as well as a review of the implementation of the security plan within the capital.

The meeting also addressed the monitoring of major and serious crimes and the mechanism for dealing with them promptly, especially those related to murder, armed robbery, and kidnapping. Emphasis was placed on the need to expedite the processing of pending cases related to these crimes and to take the necessary legal measures to ensure justice and deter lawbreakers.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Security Director stressed the importance of continued coordination between departments and offices and increasing the pace of field operations to enhance the security and stability of Tripoli.
