Tripoli, November 15, 2025 (LANA) – The Public Prosecutor's Office announced today, Saturday, the detention of three members of the Kufra branch of the Criminal Investigation Department for the murder of Musa Abdul Karim Abdullah al-Tabawi.
In a statement, the office indicated that the Kufra Primary Prosecution Office took over the investigation into the murder. The investigator inspected the crime scene and heard witness testimonies.
According to the office, the investigator interrogated the three accused, informed them of the charges against them, and ordered their pretrial detention pending further investigation.
The Public Prosecutor's Office had announced yesterday the filing of a public lawsuit against the perpetrators of the murder of al-Tabawi and the attempted murder of Muhammad Omar Hassan al-Tabawi in the city of Kufra.
