Tripoli, November 11, 2025 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, stressed the need to redouble efforts to develop the infrastructure of the oil sector, and implement strategic projects that ensure the sustainability of production and improve operational efficiency.

This came during his meeting with the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Masoud Suleiman, to follow up on the progress of the corporation’s work and its plans to increase production rates and stabilize supplies in the local market. 

Dabaiba renewed the government’s support for the institution in performing its duties as the basic pillar of the national economy.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Foundation reviewed the results of the meetings he held with major international companies on the sidelines of the Foundation’s participation in the ADIPEC conference and exhibition, which was hosted by the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, and the new cooperation opportunities and understandings that resulted from those meetings.
