Takala meets with the new UK ambassador to Libya

Tripoli, November 10, 2025 (LANA) – The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, accompanied by the Second Deputy, Musa Faraj, met with the new British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Reynolds, on Monday at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli.
The High Council of State's media office reported that Takala welcomed Ambassador Reynolds and wished him success in his duties.
The meeting reviewed the latest political developments in Libya and the local and international efforts underway to resolve the political crisis. The roadmap presented by the UN envoy and the ongoing dialogues between the two councils were discussed, with the aim of ensuring the roadmap's success and leading the country to a phase of lasting stability through free and transparent elections that meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.
