Al-Menfi discusses with the head of the oil corporation the results of the work of the technical committee concerned with monitoring the operational and exceptional expenses of the corporation

Tripoli, November 9, 2025 (LANA) – The Head of the Presidential Council and Chairman of the High Financial Committee, Mohamed Al-Menfi, met today with the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Suleiman, to discuss the findings of the technical committee tasked with monitoring the NOC's operational and exceptional expenditures.
The meeting, held at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli, also addressed the importance of reviewing the legal, technical, and financial aspects of contracts concluded in the oil sector over the past five years. This review aims to ensure the integrity of procedures, safeguard the state's rights, and enhance transparency in this vital sector of the national economy.
During the meeting, Al-Menfi emphasized that the High Financial Committee places great importance on establishing the principles of transparency and accountability, and strengthening the foundations of good governance across all state institutions.
The meeting concluded with an affirmation of continued coordination between the High Financial Committee and the NOC to monitor the implementation of the technical committee's recommendations and overcome any obstacles hindering progress, all in the best interest of the nation.
