Dbeibah affirms the government's full support for completing the constitutional process.

Tripoli, November 6, 2025 (LANA) – Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba of the Government of National Unity expressed the government's full readiness to cooperate with the Constitutional Drafting Assembly and provide all necessary support to enable it to fulfill its national role in completing the constitutional process.

This came during his meeting today, Thursday, with the head of the Constitutional Drafting Assembly, Marajaa Noah, where he congratulated him on his election as head of the Assembly and wished him success in carrying out his national duties.

Dabaiba considered the Assembly to be the true guarantor of the Libyan people's right to a permanent constitution that regulates political life and lays the foundation for building a stable state.

The Prime Minister stated that the continued obstruction of the Libyan people's right to a constitution represents a violation of a national entitlement that has been delayed for more than a decade. He emphasized that the time has come to move from interim phases to constitutional stability through a comprehensive national consensus.

For his part, the head of the commission expressed his appreciation to the Prime Minister for his support of the commission’s efforts and his readiness to provide suitable conditions for its work, stressing the commission’s determination to perform its responsibilities in a way that fulfills the aspirations of the Libyan people towards a unified state and a consensual constitution that represents all Libyans.
