Takala meets with the Ghanaian ambassador

Tripoli, November 5, 2025 (LANA) – The President of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, affirmed that Libyan projects in Ghana are a cornerstone in building stronger economic relations that meet the aspirations and ambitions of both the Libyan and Ghanaian peoples.

This came during his meeting today, Wednesday, at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli, with the Ambassador of Ghana to Libya, Mark Ntsi.

Takala added that this meeting comes within the framework of strengthening the historical ties between the two countries, noting that the large Ghanaian community in Libya reflects the depth of these relations between the two peoples.

For his part, the Ghanaian Ambassador emphasized the deep fraternal relations that bind the two countries, which extend back decades, explaining that the two countries enjoy strong political and economic ties.

He said that Libya is an important country for Ghana, as it is Africa's gateway to Europe and the world, pointing to the importance of Libyan investments in Ghana and their role in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
