Tripoli, 5 November 2025 (Lana)—Minister of Oil and Gas Khalifa Abdul Sadiq discussed with OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al-Ghais Libya's pivotal role in supporting the organization's efforts and its ongoing contributions to strengthening cooperation among member states.

During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the ADIPEC 2025 conference in Abu Dhabi, the two parties also discussed developments in the global oil sector and ways to enhance market stability, in addition to emphasizing the importance of sufficient and early investments in the oil industry to ensure sustainable supplies.

According to a statement by the ministry, Al-Ghais commended Libya's efforts in supporting OPEC and its continued commitment to the Declaration of Cooperation.
