Aguila Saleh meets with the preparatory committee for the Libya-Africa Climate Summit

Benghazi, November 3, 2025 (LANA) – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aguila Saleh, held a meeting today, Monday, with the Preparatory Committee for the Libya-Africa Climate Summit, in the presence of members of Parliament Rabia Aburas, Abdul-Moneim Balkour, and Rahma Abu Bakr.

During the meeting, the Speaker was briefed on the latest developments in the Committee's work and discussed the implementation plan to be adopted for organizing the summit, which aims to strengthen Libya's role in climate issues and sustainable development on the African continent.

This meeting comes as part of the ongoing preparations for the summit, with a focus on consolidating cooperation between national institutions and regional and international partners to ensure the achievement of the summit's objectives and enhance Libya's standing in environmental and development issues at the African level.
