NOC holds talks with Chevron.

Tripoli, 29 October 2025 (Lana) Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Suleiman, met yesterday with a delegation from the American company Chevron to discuss ways to expand joint cooperation, particularly in the areas of exploration, production, and oil field development.
The Chevron delegation included Vice President of Business Development Frank Mount, General Manager of Operations Joel Koch, Director of Operations in High-Risk Environments Daniel Heap, and Senior Engineering Manager and Operations Technician Kenneth Davis.
During the meeting, held at the NOC headquarters, they also discussed investment opportunities in renewable energy projects and modern technologies across various sectors of the oil industry.
Suleiman emphasized that the NOC is committed to attracting experienced international companies to enhance production efficiency and develop the sector's infrastructure, highlighting that the current phase presents a significant opportunity to boost investments and implement strategic projects that will contribute to increased production rates.
Representatives of the company expressed their appreciation for the existing cooperation with the NOC, affirming the company's desire to expand its operations in Libya, contribute its technical expertise to the development of Libyan oil fields, and support training and capacity-building programs for Libyan cadres.
The NOC stated on its official page that this meeting is part of its plan to open new prospects for international partnerships, ensuring the development of the oil sector according to the latest global standards.
