Dabaiba directs the completion of development and vital projects in Zliten

Tripoli, October 28, 2025 (LANA) – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, discussed a number of development and service issues in the city during his meeting today with a delegation from the Zliten Municipal Council.

During the meeting, held at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli, Dabaiba congratulated the council members on their success in the local elections, stressing the importance of strengthening democratic participation and the role of local councils in serving citizens and meeting their needs.

During the meeting, which was attended by his financial advisor and Minister of Transport, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, the acting Minister of Local Government, Abdul Shafi Al-Juwaifi, members of the city's Supreme Council of State, and a number of notables and dignitaries from the municipality, Dabaiba listened to the points and proposals presented by the Municipal Council. He emphasized the importance of following up on the implementation of vital projects and developing public services to directly serve citizens.

The Prime Minister directed the completion of several essential projects, including the construction of two bridges, the opening of Zawiya Al-Sabaa during the upcoming month of Ramadan, and the equipping of Zliten General Hospital to meet the needs of the city's residents and improve the quality of services.

During the meeting, Dabaiba stressed the need for ongoing coordination between executive bodies and the municipal council to monitor the implementation of projects on the ground.
