Tripoli, October 27, 2025 (LANA) - The Libyan-Chinese Joint Economic Chamber welcomed the news indicating the imminent resumption of operations of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the capital, Tripoli.

The Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors, Naim Bouabdallah, affirmed that this step represents a strategic turning point that enhances confidence in the Libyan business environment and consolidates the depth of the economic partnership between the two countries, according to a statement published by the Chamber on its website.

Bouabdallah said that the imminent resumption of operations of the Chinese Embassy in Tripoli is the culmination of joint efforts and official meetings held with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Libya and senior Chinese officials.

The Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors indicated that the resumption of operations of the Chinese Embassy in Tripoli will have a positive impact on businessmen in terms of expediting visa issuance and enhancing the flow of investment and trade exchange between the two countries.
