Tripoli, October 27, 2025 (LANA) – The head of the High Council of State, Mohamed Takala, met today, Monday, with the head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, at the Cabinet headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.
During the meeting, the repercussions of the House of Representatives' activation of the law establishing the Constitutional Court, which was invalidated by the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court due to its negative impact on the unity and stability of the country, were discussed.
According to what was published by the Council's media office, both sides affirmed their absolute rejection of such absurd laws that perpetuate division and undermine the sovereignty and independence of the judiciary, which is one of the pillars of the state of justice and law.
