Municipal Guard Service launches a large-scale campaign in Al-Abyar Municipality.

Benghazi, October 27, 2025 (LANA) – The Municipal Guard Service in the Al-Abyar Municipality organized a large-scale campaign to inventory public state property and monitor encroachments by some citizens in the municipality.

Colonel Salah Al-Sahli, Director of the Public Relations and Media Department at the Municipal Guard Service Presidency, explained that the campaign is being coordinated and cooperated with the Patrols and Support Department at the Presidency Presidency, the Public State Property Unit at the Presidency Presidency, the State Property Authority - State Property Encroachments Committee, and the Al-Abyar Municipal Guard Service branch.

Al-Sahli stated that the committee began its field work by inventorying the sites of encroachments. Violators and encroachers on state property were summoned and warned of the need to immediately remove these encroachments, with legal action to be taken against violators in the event of non-compliance.

Salah Al-Sahli emphasized that this campaign comes within the framework of enforcing the rule of law and protecting state property from tampering and illegal exploitation, calling on all citizens to cooperate with the relevant authorities in the public interest.
