Tripoli, October 23, 2025 (LANA) – The European Union reiterated its support for the Libyan people in their journey towards peace, unity, and prosperity, on the occasion of the fourteenth anniversary of Liberation Day, praising the steadfastness, courage, and aspirations of the Libyan people for a future of security and stability.

A statement published by the European Union Delegation to Libya on its official Facebook page on this occasion read: "Libya celebrates its Liberation Day today, a moment that honors the steadfastness, courage, and aspirations of the Libyan people. The European Union stands by Libya in its journey towards peace, unity, and prosperity for all its citizens."

It is worth noting that Libya commemorates the anniversary of the Declaration of Liberation on October 23 of each year, a national milestone that embodies the sacrifices of Libyans and their aspirations to build a unified, stable, and prosperous state.
