The Speaker of the House of Representatives discusses with the Italian Ambassador efforts to strengthen partnership at the political, economic, and security levels.

Al-Qubbah, October 20, 2025 (LANA) - Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, discussed today with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini, and his accompanying diplomatic delegation, ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and cooperation in various fields.

During the meeting, held in the city of Al-Qubbah, the two sides also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Libyan and regional arena, according to what was published by the Speaker of the House of Representatives' media center on its website.

The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between Libya and Italy at the political, economic, and security levels, in addition to continuing diplomatic coordination to serve the common interests of the two countries and contribute to achieving stability in the region.
