Al-Baour meets with Palestinian Ambassador.

Tripoli, October 20, 2025 (LANA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, discussed bilateral relations between the two countries on Monday with the Palestinian Ambassador to Libya, Mohammed Rahal. They also reviewed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The meeting also discussed the situation of the Palestinian community residing in Libya and ways to facilitate their procedures and transactions, in implementation of the directives and decisions of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity.

Al-Baour affirmed Libya's firm and supportive position on the Palestinian cause and its support for the Palestinian people until they achieve their legitimate and just rights to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
