The Electoral Commission is following up on the final preparations for the voting phase in the municipal council elections in Ubari

Ubari, October 16, 2025 (LANA) – Abu Bakr Marda, a member of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), visited the electoral administration office in Ubari this Thursday morning. This visit is part of the field monitoring of the third group of municipal council elections for 2025.

The commission member, along with the head of the office, Ali Abu Salah, and in the presence of coordinators and a number of office staff, reviewed the final preparations for the voting phase scheduled for October 18.

The meeting addressed the readiness of the offices and committees, the completion of logistical and awareness-raising arrangements, and the training programs allocated to the electoral committees to ensure the electoral process proceeds in accordance with approved standards.
