The Medical Supply Authority receives a new shipment of muscle atrophy medication.

Tripoli, October 16, 2025 (LANA) – The Medical Supply Authority announced the receipt of a new shipment of muscular dystrophy medication, supplied by the Swiss company Roche, one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies.

The Authority explained that the quantities received will cover patients' needs for a full year, noting that the supply process was carried out in accordance with approved technical and logistical standards.

It also confirmed that the shipment will undergo the usual regulatory procedures and laboratory tests to ensure its safety and quality before distribution to patients.

This comes within the framework of the Medical Supply Authority's ongoing efforts to secure essential medicines and specialized treatments, and to enhance the efficiency of the drug supply system to ensure the sustainability of health services in the country.
